Before you file
First raise the issue directly with the intermediary (broker / RA / IA / company) and keep written proof.
If unresolved within ~21 days, escalate to SEBI SCORES.
Filing on SCORES
Register on the SCORES portal with your PAN and contact details.
Select the entity type and entity name, describe the issue, and upload your documents (statements, chats, payment proof).
You get a unique complaint registration number to track status. SEBI forwards it to the entity with a response deadline.
What to document
Dates, amounts, account/UPI references, screenshots of promises or advice, and all communication.
